Plicata – stippled, dotted or stitched margin color on light background

Self – an iris of one solid color

Bi-tone – standards and falls are two shades of a color

Bi-color – different colored standards and falls

GN – garden name for an unregistered variety

S. = standards
F. = falls
B. or Brds. = beards
